Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Julie, the designer and maker behind Naiya & Yuls Designs. Jewellery has been part of my journey for many years. What began as a personal way to rebuild confidence after surgery eventually became a passion for creating meaningful, handcrafted pieces for others. Working from my home studio in East Sussex, I create sterling silver and gemstone jewellery inspired by colour, nature and the places that have shaped my life. Every piece is designed and handcrafted with care, using quality materials chosen to be treasured for years to come.
My Story
Jewellery has always been part of my life, but my journey as a maker became especially meaningful after major surgery and a long period of rebuilding my confidence.
What began as a creative outlet slowly became a source of strength, purpose and healing.
Working with gemstones, precious metals and traditional jewellery-making techniques allowed me to reconnect with my creativity and create something beautiful with my own hands.
Today, every piece is handcrafted from my home studio in East Sussex using sterling silver, carefully selected gemstones and pearls.
My aim is simple: to create meaningful jewellery that brings joy, confidence and connection to the people who wear it.

What Makes My Jewellery Different
Every piece is created with care, intention and attention to detail.
I work in small collections and one-of-a-kind designs, combining sterling silver, gemstones and traditional jewellery-making techniques.
Rather than following fast fashion trends, I focus on creating jewellery that feels personal, meaningful and made to last.
Whether you're choosing a gift or treating yourself, I hope each piece brings a little joy and becomes part of your own story.

The Materials I Love
Every design begins with carefully chosen gemstones.
I am drawn to colour, texture and the unique character of natural stones. Whether working with tourmaline, emerald, sapphire, moonstone or pearls, I enjoy creating combinations that feel harmonious and full of life.
Many of my designs start with a single gemstone that inspires the entire piece. I love exploring how colours work together and how different stones can create a completely different mood.
Each piece is made in small batches or as a one-of-a-kind design, allowing the beauty of the materials to remain at the heart of the jewellery.
